NH House Speaker Terri Norelli had the following comment on the NH Senate's vote to not reinstate and raise the state's minimum wage:
The New Hampshire House stands with the state’s hardworking men and women, supporting the
restoration and increase of the minimum wage. We believe those men and women deserve dignity and
respect and we have confidence that raising the minimum wage will benefit the state, business
community and all of our citizens.
The disrespect and lack of understanding projected by a number of Senators during the discussion of the
bill makes clear that they are dangerously out of touch with the hardworking people they represent. They
deserve better from those fortunate enough to serve in the New Hampshire General Court.

Second District Republican Congressional candidate Gary Lambert made the following statement to his supporters by e-mail yesterday:
As I travel the 2nd district, I often get asked, "When is something going to be done about the IRS"s illegal targeting of conservative groups?" Since the corruption and political targeting at the IRS were exposed nearly one year ago, no arrests have been made and too few resignations have been turned in. No one has been held accountable.
Until last night....
Last night, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to hold Senior IRS Official Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress for her refusal to answer questions about illegal targeting of conservative groups and individuals. I fully support the House's actions to hold Lois Lerner in contempt. Her actions, along with those of numerous Obama administration officials, were criminal. We must have answers as to how this happened, who was involved, and how can we ensure this never happens again.
We need change in Washington, and we need it now.

We know that the Wall Street bigwigs who put together this event are paying Scott Brown, but Brown is still hiding how much. So which is it, Scott?
A. $7.25 [the amount a minimum wage worker makes in one hour, which Scott Brown opposes increasing]
B. $35,800 [the amount SkyBridge Capital’s co-managing partner has donated to Brown’s campaigns]
C. $5 million [the amount of Wall Street cash Scott Brown took in 2012, more than any other candidate running for office]
D. $19 Billion [how much Scott Brown saved the big Wall Street banks by threatening to sink Wall Street reform]
E. None of the above
The answer is E, none of the above. Because Scott Brown isn’t telling.

The State Democratic Party also upbraided District One Republican Congressional candidate Frank Guinta for dishonesty in a recent interview with WMUR:
Demonstrating exactly why he can’t be trusted, former Tea-Party Congressman Frank Guinta sat down with WMUR yesterday and lied his way through a 30 minute interview that covered his mystery bank account, failed legislative record, and useless lobbying group.
“This interview reminded New Hampshire families that Tea-Party Congressman Frank Guinta still hasn’t been cleared by the FEC for his mystery bank account, and he’s gone from hiding his far right legislative record to straight-up lying about it,” said New Hampshire Democratic Party Communications Director Julie McClain. “Granite Staters won’t put up with Frank Guinta’s web of lies in November.”
